Let's Go On A Jeep Adventure

Come away with me, my friends,
and let's take a jeep ride high into the mountains. . .
{Introducing Beebo giveaway winner announced at the end}

The road will lead us up, up and away
where the air is clean and oh-so-fresh.

We'll go through thick forests of Aspen trees. . .

and walk through grass
that is almost as tall as our hips.

We'll look down in the valley's below
and see beautiful lakes that are crystal clear. . .

and all the while we'll enjoy the pure beauty
of the many wildflowers dotting the mountainside.

As we climb higher into the mountains
we'll see more rugged terrain.

And look there!
Those white patches are snow.

Let's hop out of the jeep
and take a little walk. . .

As we come to the edge of the mountain
we'll see an abundance of red rocks.

Also, notice the pine trees. . .
since we are close to timberline the trees begin to fade away
and what does grow that high grows together.
It's like the trees have a support system.

I suppose we should probably turn around
and head back.

Down the trail we go. . .

You're probably thinking the adventure is coming to an end,
but that is not the case.
Look there!
Do you see what I see?
A sweet buck resting under a pine tree amongst the wildflowers.

Notice his antlers still have velvet on them.

And his hair is changing color
since he is getting ready for the colder months.

One last look at the sky
shows a beautiful opening in the clouds.
What a lovely way to end the adventure.

Thanks for joining us,
sweet friends!

I hope you enjoyed a taste of our mountains
and the views we are blessed with.

Love and hugs to you!
