Girly Bow Pillows
Sparkle
every day.
Hello, my lovely friends, followers, and readers!
How are you on this delightful Wednesday?
Today I have some sweet little bow pillows to show you.
They are easy peasy to make
and they add the perfect touch of charm and femininity to your home.
Let's get started, shall we. . .
Supplies needed:
fabric
Poly-fil
sewing machine and all that good stuff
As you can see,
I made three pillows and the measurements are as follows:
large bow
two pieces of fabric that are 8x12-inches,
one small piece of fabric that is 5x10-inches
medium bow
two pieces of fabric that are 7x11-inches,
one small piece of fabric that is 4x9-inches
small bow
two piece of fabric that are 6x10-inches,
one small piece of fabric that is 3x8-inches.
Fold the small piece of fabric in half
with right sides together.
Sew along the edge,
but leave the ends open.
Turn the fabric right side out
and press with an iron.
Bring the two raw edges together
and sew along the edge.
Turn right side out
so that the seam is on the inside.
For the pillow
you will want to pin the two pieces of fabric right sides together
and sew along the edges.
Leave a small opening!
Flip the pillow right side out
and fill with Poly-fil.
You don't want to stuff your pillow
since you have to put the small ring of fabric around the center.
Sew up the opening.
Gently pull the small ring of fabric around the pillow
and place in the center.
Once you have it positioned where you want it
you can add a lovely little embellishment to the center.
As you can see I added a fabric flower to each pillow.
I simply hot glued them on.
You can add lace, pearls, gems, and so much more.
Be creative, my friends.
These pillows would look adorable in your little girl's room
or sew some up to give to a special friend.
It's always a joy to have you pop in for a visit.
May your day be extra beautiful!
Love and hugs!

Again, thank you for your prayers for my Grandma Dee Ann,
you are amazing, my friends!
She had the mitra valve clip procedure yesterday
and seems to be doing well-
praise the Lord!
She is not out of the woods yet
so prayers on her behalf are very much appreciated.
